COLIN Reynolds headed home a last gasp winner as Llanidloes Town took home the division one derby spoils on Bank Holiday Monday.

With time running out and Carno looking the stronger the veteran rose to head home unchallenged from a corner to gift his side a hard fought victory.

The derby was played at a frantic pace with the home side’s attacks led by the creation of Rob Bennett while Gareth Mansell shone for the visiting Daffodils.

Barry Bellis fired Llanidloes ahead in the first-half with a cool finish under the legs of Carno goalkeeper Chris Brown.

However thde stage was set for a thrilling finale as Chris Gethin steered a shot over a stranded Aaron Warwick to level after the break.

Bellis continued to pose the greatest threat while the introduction of the quick footed Gareth Jones added new dangers for Carno.

Carno were pressing but lacked the instinctive final ball and with seconds remaining Reynolds headed hiome a winner.
