THE Elan Valley Show takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 30, on the Noyadd Fields, with the action starting at noon.
All the usual attractions will feature at this year’s show including sheep, horse and dog classes as well as pig racing, dog racing, bikes for children, a barbecue and a bar.
The day’s competitions kick-off at noon and there will be all the usual pony classes and gymkhana, the ever popular dog show and the sheep classes and shearing competitions as well as the usual competitions such as the vegetable competition.
Last year’s show fell foul to wet weather so organisers are hopeful for a dry day this year.
“That would be very nice indeed!” said John Morgan, of Noyadd Farm.
“Providing the weather is good there is no reason why we shouldn’t have even more here on Bank Holiday Monday,” he added.
Entries to the various classes are being accepted up to the day of the show.
