DEE Valley neighbours Llangollen were the visitors to Corwen last week in the Oswestry Bowls League.
Corwen won three of the first four games, with Nathan Aldridge (21-16), Gareth Jones (21-17) and Brian Edwards (21-20) the victors.
Due to the narrow individual wins the aggregate was level at that point.
A couple of good wins from Llangollen in the second half saw them pinch the aggregate by five.
A 21-12 win from Peter Aldridge and a 21-17 card from Nigel Roberts, however, made the result a 5-5 draw to ensure Corwen stretched their unbeaten run to four matches.
After three successive defeats, Corwen B got back on the track with an 8-2 home win against Weston Rhyn B.
Dei Owen was best at 21-6, followed by Rona Roberts (21-8).
Star man, however was Alun Lewis.
Playing his first game for two years he won 21-11.
