Fourth placed Meliden A missed out on the chance to close up on leaders St Asaph by losing 8-6 at Trefnant A in their Vale of Clwyd League Division A match.
Second-placed Denbigh A drew 7-7 draw at Old Colwyn.
Copperfields continue to set the pace in Section B after toppling Rhyl A 9-5, but relegation threatened Bryn Newydd were blitzed 13-1 at Kinmel Bay A where Andrew Thompson was the best home winner.
Grove Park remain on promotion track after sinking East Parade A 9-5 in their all-Rhyl derby, while Sunny Rhyl lost 10-4 at St Asaph. Gaynor White was Rhuddlan's pick at Llysfaen in a 9-5 defeat and it was defeat for Dyserth B who lost 8-6 defeat at Rhos Park.
