PRESTEIGNE have stepped up their hunt for a new manager, following the decision of Tim Broome to stand down due to his work commitments.

Chairman Alan Randell said that now the season is finished the club’s committee can focus fully on the search for a successor.

“We have already had one or two initial enquiries about the post,” he said.

“However we are not going to rush into things as it is important that we find the right person for the job.

“Tim did an excellent job in his time with us and we need to build on that in what is sure to be a highly competitive Spar League first division next season.

“We are looking for someone who preferably has management experience at that or an equivalent level, but we are happy to receive applications from anyone who believes they can maintain our progress.”

Presteigne finished seventh in the Spar Mid Wales League in the 2010 season.
Anyone interested in applying for the post, or wanting more information is invited to contact Alan Randell on 07919 606127.
