RUGBY clubs across the region start the decisive last leg of the Gogledd Cymru season on Saturday.

Dolgellau are joined by Machynlleth and COBRA in a unified second division, which sees them take on Bethesda, Bala and Rhyl.

The eventual winner of the league will be promoted to Gogledd Cymru Division One next season.

Meanwhile Llanidloes, Newtown and Welshpool join Wrexham, Bangor and Rhos in fighting for their lives in Gogledd Cymru Division Three.

The bottom club could face a battle for re-election in the summer, with Abergele and Harlech rumoured to be weighing up an application.
