AN INVESTIGATION is underway at the Llanfair Light Railway after a train derailed.
Fortunately no-one was hurt in the incident, which took place just before noon on Wednesday at the Welshpool end of the line.
It is understood only one person was on board the ‘track personnel carrier’ when the accident happened.
Possible brake failure is being investigated as the potential cause of the accident.
