Caersws Reserves 2

Bow Street 3

BOW Street survived a scare at lowly Caersws Reserves thanks to Gareth Hughes’ late winner.

The Magpies substitute raced onto Darren Middleton’s threaded pass to send Street top of the Mid Wales League.

Bow Street led with veteran striker Tim Turner breaking the deadlock on 15 minutes and added to it when Dean Evans hammered home a free-kick on the hour.

Undeterred Caersws continued to press with a James Coleman strike and then an own goal levelling matters.

Bow Street looked to have blown their chance of victory, but with seconds remaining Hughes bagged a goal to send Street top.
