One of the oldest traditional pubs in a Powys town has re-opened its doors as new managers prepare to welcome back both regulars and new visitors.

After a temporary closure earlier in 2023, The Skinners Arms re-opened on Wednesday, March 27, as new landlords Lee and Kimberly Roberts took over the pub on Penrallt St.

The duo stepped into the role after managing Machynlleth’s Dyfi Forester Inn pub, which has temporarily closed with the departure of its landlords, making the announcement earlier in March.

Writing on social media, the team at the Dyfi Forester Inn team said: “Team Foz will be taking over the Skinners Arms in a few weeks’ time. We are very excited about this new venture and hope that you are too.
