A Powys man will stand trial after pleading not guilty to having in his possession heroin with the intention of supplying the Class A drug almost four years ago.
Eric Burn, aged 28, appeared at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on March 12 to face the charge.
The Meifod man's trial date was fixed for April 12 at Mold Crown Court.
Burn, of Broniarth View, Meifod, denies that on August 29, 2020, in Llanfyllin, that he had in his possession a quantity of diamorphine, a controlled drug of Class A, with the intention to supply.
The chair of the magistrates' bench said the charge was "too serious" for them to deal with, before granting Burn unconditional bail to appear in Mold later next month.
