A second consultation is scheduled to be held for Welshpool’s new skate park, which remains in development.
On Wednesday, March 20, specialist designer Canvas and Welshpool Town Council, with Powys Council Youth Centre are holding a second consultation for anyone who is interested in Welshpool’s new Skate Park.
The meeting will be held from 4pm to 6pm at the Youth Centre and will allow people to ask questions and offer comments on the proposed design for the park.

Plans for the new park were unveiled by Canvas, who were appointed by the town council, revealing their draft design in February after a consultation period with the public, hearing ideas and proposals for the facility which have reportedly been taken into consideration.
Canvas will also be visiting Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School, Welshpool High School and Ysgol Gymraeg y Trallwng on the same day as the consultation to hear views from school pupils.
