Paul Carr-Webster denies assaulting Carolynne Conway and damaging her phone in Knighton in January.
A POWYS man faces trial later this year after denying charges of assault and criminal damage against a woman.
Paul Carr-Webster, of Cemetery Road, Knighton, denied assaulting the woman in the same area on January 7 this year.
He also denied damaging a smart phone belonging to the complainant.
Magistrates sitting in Welshpool on Tuesday, March 5, said a trial would take place at Welshpool on May 1.
Carr-Webster, 59, was granted conditional bail; he is not to contact directly or indirectly Ms Conway, and is not to attend or loiter in the area of Cemetery Road.
