A MISSING person was found in Powys in the early hours of this morning after a search which involved a Coastguard helicopter.
Police confirmed a person was found in the Pontrobert area at around 5am today (January 30). Reports suggest the person was missing from the local area.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed on its Facebook page that the missing person had been found, and thanked the public for sharing a missing persons appeal.
A force spokesperson confirmed the Coastguard helicopter was seen in the Pontrobert area “in connection with a search for a boy who was reported missing and found safe and well”.
A Coastguard spokesperson said: “The Coastguard helicopter from Caernarfon assisted Dyfed-Powys Police with a missing person search at around 3am today, January 30.”
