A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for parts of Powys for heavy winds.
The Met Office has issued a warning for "very windy conditions" through this evening (December 27) saying that it will bring "the chance of some disruption".
The Met Office has said that "there is a slight chance of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs".
The high winds are expected to hit the north and the west of Powys with much of Montgomeryshire and the western half of Radnorshire and Brecknockshire affected.

They have added that there will be disruption to people trying to travel across the county as there are "some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport expected".
They have also said that there could be "delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges".
The Met Office also warn that "some short term loss of power and other services could be expected" and there is "a small chance of injuries from flying debris".
They advise that residents secure down loose objects such as "bins, plant pots, garden furniture (bring inside or secure in place), trampolines (turn upside down or secure with tent pegs) and sheds (ensure doors are locked)"
The Met Office added that "being outside in high winds makes you more vulnerable to injury. Stay indoors as much as possible. If you do go out, try not to walk or shelter close to buildings and trees."
