A TEENAGE girl has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear in court on Monday (November 20) following the alleged stabbing of another girl in Powys.
Dyfed-Powys Police said it is investigating after a girl was allegedly stabbed in the Coelbren area, a small village in the south of Powys, at around 7pm on Thursday, November 16.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries where she remains in a stable condition.
A 14-year-old girl has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article. She has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Merthyr Magistrates Court on Monday.
