A POPULAR Powys burger bar is offering a mouthwatering tasty new takeaway treat to its customers.
Llandrindod Wells’ revamped burger joint Worth Your Salt has a tantalising new offering to tickle taste buds – which includes burgers, chicken wings, onion rings and fries, all in one box.
In total, the Worth Your Salt ‘Sharing Box’ offers people: 1 x single Big Bird (chicken burger), 1 x single WYS burger (their signature beef burger), 2 x chicken wings, 4 x giant onion rings, 4 x mozzarella sticks, 6 x chilli cheese bites, 4 x giant deep fried gherkins, 2 portions of fries, one with cheddar, the other their aspen fries, and some homemade dipping sauces.
The Sharing Box’ is available as a takeaway option only and is priced at a reasonable £25.
The restaurant reopened in March, after sadly closing more than two years ago. Worth Your Salt is now located at the Hampton Hotel, on Temple Street
It proved immensely popular when it opened in 2017 on South Crescent (now home to The Hive), but then the fryers were flipped off in October 2020 due to concerns over Covid-19 restrictions, which owners said left running the business “simply unsustainable”.
The restaurant then got juices flowing back in October last year when they announced they would be reopening and be back “bigger and better” in 2023.
Worth Your Salt offers both a takeaway and dine-in service, with a delicious-looking menu dropping the day after the re-opening and offering mouth-watering creations like the B Train, the Mac Daddy, the Leaning Tower of Pizza, the Six Nations, the Big Bird and the Dirty Hog.
Worth Your Salt also offers a 60+ cocktail menu to customers, as well as desserts, or you can just call in for some coffee and cake.
