Shoppers were surprised yesterday (Wednesday, June 21) when they came into Welshpool's Tesco to find multiple fridges broken down.
As temperatures rose, staff were forced to empty most of the chilled food sections after an electrical issue led to some of them breaking down.
This meant many of the ready meals and the meal deal lunch meals were unavailable at around 1.30pm.

According to Tesco, the issue was caused by an electrical issue which meant some of the fridges at the Welshpool superstore weren’t working.
They stressed that "not all fridges are impacted".
A spokesperson confirmed that a maintenance team is working hard to fix the problem "as soon as possible" and apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused.
