ONE of Powys’ major roads has been closed following a road traffic collision earlier today.
Dyfed Powys Police said that both lanes of the A40 between Brecon and Sennybridge have been closed following the crash, which occurred sometime this afternoon.
The force tweeted around 7pm: “A40 Brecon to Sennybridge. Police are at scene following a road traffic collision, both lanes are currently closed.
“Please avoid the area and find an alternative route. Thank you.”
It has not been made clear how many vehicles were involved or if there are any casualties.
