A stray ferret has been spotted around Newtown trying to get into a council building.
The animal was spotted yesterday (April 16) outside Ladywell house just of Park Road in the town centre trying to get into the offices.
Residents of the town do not seem worried, however, with one commenting "maybe it needs advice" and another that it was just "admiring its own reflection".
There have been mulitple sightings of the ferret around the town with some spotting the ferret at the football stadium.
Today another person in the town claimed they had spotted the runaway ferret but when he approached the animal it "bit me".
In multilple social media posts there has been appeals to find out if there has been an owner who has lost the animal but as of this afternoon no one has come forward.
