THE Builth Wells Rotary Club quiz put on another successful evening last month to help raise funds for Builth Wells 1st Scout Group.
The quiz is held on the third Tuesday of each month, at the Greyhound Hotel. The money raised is then doubled by Builth Rotary Club and the total allocated to a different charity each month.
The recipients in February received a cheque for £235, which was presented by Builth Wells president Baden Powell to Sarah Morgan, Scout group leader.

The Scout group were seeking help to provide funding for sports equipment, balls, bats, nets and mats to encourage safe play for the group members. This will be combined with a grant from the Wakenham Trust.
The Scout group is run by Richard Morgan and his wife Sarah. They meet every Tuesday evening from 6pm-7.30pm. Richard said they are presently looking for a Cub Leader for the 8-10-year-olds.
