FAIRTRADE Fortnight might have come to an end for another year, but that doesn't mean we have to stop buying their products.
The Co-op is the largest convenience seller of Fairtrade products in the UK, and the largest seller of Fairtrade wine in the world. Some of the Co-op's honest value range is also Fairtrade, so it's fair on your pocket too.
Helen Tuite, Co-op member pioneer in Builth Wells, said: “We had a Fairtrade stand at the Co-op store in Builth on Saturday, March 4, in order to raise awareness.

“We were delighted to see, though, that most of the shoppers we spoke to already bought Fairtrade, and it was a conscious decision because they wanted to support farmers and their families.”
Fairtrade was founded in 1992 and operates in 71 countries around the world.
Fairtrade works with farmers and workers so they can improve their living standards, invest in their communities and businesses, and protect our shared environment.
