Domino's Pizza is the latest fast-food giant to announce that it will be opening in Newtown.

The world's largest pizza chain has revealed it will soon be serving up favourites from Pepperoni Passion to garlic and herb big dips at its New Road branch in late November.

The company is looking for people to earn "some extra dough" after advertising full-time and part-time jobs this week online including in-store team members and delivery drivers for evening and weekend roles.

On the jobs search website Indeed, the fast food chain, with 1,169 branches across the UK, is advertising posts with hours varying between eight to 10-hour shifts, with salaries up to £9.50 an hour.

Domino's Pizza has not yet said where in New Road the outlet will be, but the Powys County Times has approached them for comment.

It will be Domino's Pizza's first branch in Powys and second in mid Wales with an outlet in Aberystwyth that opened in 2011.
