A ROAD has reopened after an earlier accident had seen a person trapped inside a vehicle.
The incident closed the B4355 between Knighton and Norton, police confirmed.
Dyfed Powys Police reported the incident just after 1pm, before announcing the road had reopened at about 4.15pm.Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that a crew from Clun had attended the scene after reports that somebody was trapped.
The crew was providing assistance to Mid and West Wales Fire Service, but the Shropshire crew has left the scene.
Google traffic maps showed traffic in the area to be slow after the collision.
“Road closed. The B4355 between Knighton and Norton is currently closed due to a collision,” the police force tweeted in the initial incident.
“If possible, please avoid the area and find an alternative route."
