CAE Hafren hosted the annual Year 7/8 School Rugby event this month.
Over 200 pupils from schools across Powys descended on Llanidloes Rugby Club for a festival of rugby.
Gwernyfed beat Welshpool to win the Year 7 cup while Crickhowell overcame Llanidloes in the plate final and Presteigne’s John Beddoes beat Newtown to lift the bowl.
Builth Wells won the Year 8 cup after seeing off derby rivals Gwernyfed while Welshpool beat local rivals Newtown for the plate with Llanidloes taking the bowl after beating Llanfyllin.
