CAERSWS will open their Huws Gray Alliance campaign at home to newboys Queens Park on August 12.

The Bluebirds provide the Wrexham club’s Alliance debut after the visitors ground share deal with Lex Glyndwr saw their promotion bid accepted at last week’s annual meetings.

Rhayader Town’s return to the Alliance begins with a trip to Flint Town United while Penrhyncoch entertain Caernarfon Town.

Meanwhile Guilsfield travel to Rhyl with new manager Nathan Leonard seeking a positive start to his tenure at the expense of the relegated Lilywhites.

The draw for the first round of the Huws Gray Cup has also thrown up a Mid Wales derby with Penrhyncoch hosting Rhayader Town in one of the ties of the round.

Caersws entertain Gresford Athletic while Guilsfield face the unenviable long trek to Holyhead Hotspur.
