JASON Oswell led the way at Newtown’s annual awards evening held at Latham Park on Saturday evening.

The striker, who bagged 22 goals this season already had the Dafabet Welsh Premier League Golden Boot award in his trophy cabinet.

And another league honour could be coming his way, after being nominated for league  player of the year.

On Saturday, Oswell received the club golden boot award, players player of the season, and supporters player of the season.

However due to his commitments in Uganda, where he is completing work for his university degree, he was unable to attend.

The Robins Vice Presidents Club award, decided by man of the match votes throughout the season was handed to Ryan Kershaw, with Alex Fletcher a close second.

Fletcher was consoled with the manager’s player of the season accolade following a superb debut campaign at the heart of the Robins midfield.

Jamie Price’s strike against TNS, which helped the Robins to claim a point and end the Saints winning streak, was voted goal of the season by supporters.
