LLANFAIR United staged a thrilling fightback to stun fellow strugglers Mold Alexandra and breathe new life into their battle against relegation.
Top scorer James Davies led United to glory with a two minute brace while goals from youngsters Ben Jones and Josh Astley made the win even more satisfying for the home faithful.
Davies tested Mold goalkeeper Mike Jones from close range early on but United were stung as the visitors established a two goal lead against the run of play.
Jordan Stafford broke the deadlock on 22 minutes and with United still reeling the Wrexham visitors doubled their advantage through Rhys Nash.
Nash could have added a third soon after only to his shot rock the bar before United gained a foothold in the game.
A launched throw from Llion Davies was seized upon by Ben Jones to head home on 36 minutes and just three minutes later United pulled level when teenager Astley fired home from 12 yards.
Mold regained the lead inside the opening few minutes of the second-half with Anthony Williams firing home a free-kick from the edge of the area.
However United hit back once again with Davies levelling on the hour with a fine turn and shot beyond Jones.
Seconds later another United break culminated in Astley crossing for Davies to complete his brace as the hosts celebrated leading for the first time.
United came closest to adding to their tally with Davies denied his hat-trick late on when his free-kick struck the bar but Llanfair had already done enough to celebrate their first league win of 2017.
