Emrys Morgan Cup

CAERSWS Reserves were stung as Dewi Stars left it late to complete a 4-3 win and book their place in the quarter-finals of the Emrys Morgan Cup.

Stars led through Steffan Owens before the Bluebirds levelled through Charlie Jellett with the Cardiganshire side restoring their advantage in the second-half with Liam Jones netting.

However Caersws stormed back with Tom Evans and Craig Stephens netting in quick succession.

Stars were not to be denied and hit back to level with four minutes remaining with Will Williams on target before Ifan Thomas snatched glory at the death.

Llandysul progressed with goals from Ben Thomas, Matthew Newbould and Dean Jones completing a 3-0 win over Pencader.

Berriew Reserves still carry Montgomeryshire’s hopes into the last eight after scheduled visitors Cardigan Town failed to raise a side for the trip to Talbot Field.
