THE HSBC bank branch in Builth Wells will be closing on March 11.
Customers of the bank will be able to access banking services at the Post Office in the town after that date.
Both MP Chris Davies and AM Kirsty Williams have requested meetings with HSBC executives to discuss the decision to close the branch.
Along with Builth Wells, Rhayader will also be losing its HSBC branch on the same day and the Llanfyllin branch is also due to close.
