Here are the most-searched residents of some of Powys' biggest towns.
Welshpool - Anthony "Duster" Bennett
Anthony Bennett was born in Welshpool on September 23, 1946 and went on to become a well-known musician and blues singer.
He emerged in the late 1960s from the art school music scene of Kingston-upon-Thames and Guildford.
His first album Smiling Like I'm Happy saw him playing as a one-man band, playing a bass drum with his foot and blowing a harmonica on a rack while strumming a 1952 Les Paul Goldtop guitar given to him in 1968 by Peter Green.
Backed by his girlfriend Stella Sutton and the original Fleetwood Mac on three tracks, the album was well received.
Between 1968 and 1970 he was played on John Peel's Top Gear, toured and eventually joined John Mayall's Bluesbreakers as band member/solo act on a US tour in 1970.
Bennett's "Jumping at Shadows" was subsequently covered by Fleetwood Mac and revived in 1992 by Gary Moore, who covered it in his After Hours album.
After performing with Memphis Slim on March 26 1976, in Stoke on Trent, Bennett was driving home in a Ford Transit van in Warwickshire when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel. The van collided with a truck and Bennett was killed.
For decades, a clutch of live and home recordings seemed to be all that remained of his work until the 2006 release of the Complete Blue Horizon Sessions.
Newtown - Robert Owen
THE Newtown-born father of British socialism was born in the town on May 14, 1771.
He would go on to become a textile manufacturer, philanthropist and social reformer, and a founder of utopian socialism and the cooperative movement.
He is known among other things for efforts to improve his factory's working conditions, promoting experimental socialistic communities, and proposing a more collective approach to child rearing, including government control of education.
He became wealthy in the early 1800s as an investor and eventual manager of a textile mill at New Lanark, Scotland.
In 1824, he travelled to America and invested most of his fortune in an experimental socialistic community at New Harmony, Indiana, as a preliminary model for Owen's Utopian society.
In 1828, Owen returned to London, where he continued to champion the working class, lead the development of cooperatives and the trade union movement, and support the passage of child labour laws and free co-educational schools.
He died in Newtown in 1858 where he was buried and a host of landmarks in the town are named in his honour.
Llanidloes - Rhydian Vaughan
Rhydian Vaughan was born in Llanidloes on March 10 1988.
His Taiwanese mother is a performance artist, while his British father is a violinist.
Vaughan graduated from East 15 Acting School, a British performing arts school, in 2011 and is best known for his performances in the films Monga, Girlfriend, Boyfriend and Winds of September
Bishop's Castle - Fuzz Townshend
John Richard Keith "Fuzz" Townshend was born on July 31, 1964 and lives in Bishop's Castle.
His mother won a Vauxhall Chevette in a national newspaper competition when he was 10 and instead opted to take the prize in cash instead and spent it buying her son a drum kit.
After taking lessons from local jazz musician Al Reed, Townshend's stage debut was made in March 1977, aged just 12.
By the end of the 1970s, Townshend had graduated to playing in clubs with college bands.
Indie band Pop Will Eat Itself noticed him drumming with local acts and asked him to join.
Townshend spent the next four and a half years drumming for the band, during which time they had successes in both the UK single and album charts and toured North America with Nine Inch Nails.
These days he is a presenter of National Geographic Channel's Car SOS, a motoring journalist for Classic Car Weekly and Honorary President of the Triumph Sports Six Club.
Llandrindod Wells - Carl Robinson
Carl Robinson was born on October 13 1976 in Llandrindod Wells.
He would go on to enjoy a 12 year career in the English Football League with spells at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Shrewsbury Town, Portsmouth, Sheffield Wednesday, Walsall, Rotherham United, Sheffield United, Sunderland, and Norwich City before joining MLS clubs Toronto and New York Red Bulls.
He also earned 52 Welsh caps.
Since 2012 he has been a manager with spells at Vancouver Whitecaps in Canada and Newcastle Jets in Australia where he currently manages Western Sydney Wanderers,
Builth Wells - Kevin Sheedy
KEVIN Sheedy will also be remembered as one of the Welsh born talents that slipped through the fingers of his home country.
Born on October 21, 1959 in Builth Wells he opted to play for the Republic of Ireland instead, representing them 46 times and scoring the country's first ever goal at a World Cup.
He spent the largest portion of his playing career with Everton – with whom he won the FA Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup and two Football League titles – but also played for Hereford United, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Blackpool.
