WE'RE not out of the woods just yet.

After a wild week of weather, resulting from Storm Bronagh on Thursday and Storm Ali, more weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office.

There is a yellow warning for wind in place between 11am and 6pm on Friday.

This will cover north east Wales and a spell of gusty winds is expected.

The Met office warns that some bus and train services could be affected, through falling trees or branches, while some short term loss of power and other services is possible.

In addition, there is a yellow warning in place for wind from 9am on Sunday, September 23 until 9am on Monday.

This yellow warning covers the entire region.

According to the Met Office:

  • There is a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris
  • There is a slight chance of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs or through falling trees and branches.
  • There is a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air and ferry services are affected.
  • There is a slight chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
  • There is a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.

Among the strongest gusts of wind recorded during Storm Bronagh yesterday was one of 64mph at Capel Curig.
