A MAN caught having sex in a Wrexham shopping arcade has admitted a charge of outraging public decency.

David Danny Nash, 23, appeared before Wrexham Magistrates Court charged with six offences.

They included engaging in numerous and various sexual acts, which included intercourse in public, at Central Arcade on August 28.

A co-accused, Tracy Ann Myers, 34, of Lilac Way, Wrexham, who is alleged to have committed an act outraging public decency on the same date as well as causing £110 of damage to a prison cell at Wrexham Police Station on September 16, was too ill to enter her pleas.

Her solicitor Steven Edwards said she was being admitted to hospital and the matters against her and Nash’s sentencing were adjourned to a hearing at Flintshire Magistrates Court sitting at Mold on September 26.

Nash, of no fixed abode, also pleaded guilty to the theft of a bike worth £119.99 belonging to Susan Jones at Tesco in Wrexham on September 3.

He admitted failing to comply with the requirements of the Sex Offenders Register by notifying his address details on September 11 as well as possession of heroin on the same date.

And he entered guilty pleas to a second theft charge - £5.20 worth of confectionary from Sainsbury’s Chester store on August 1 - and failing to surrender to Chester Magistrates Court on September 7.

Mr Edwards, defending, said: “He has vulnerabilities and addictions.

“He is leading a chaotic lifestyle and is desperately in need of support and intervention.

“He has sensibly entered guilty pleas to all matters.”

The cases will be heard again next week.
