A MAN has appeared in court charged with making threats to Wrexham MP Ian Lucas and his constituency staff.
Juan Clegg, 34, of Vernon Street, Wrexham, is charged with using threatening words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke violence against Mr Lucas at the MP's constituency office in Rhosddu Road in Wrexham on September 6.
He is also facing a similar charge alleged to have been committed against Mathew Parry and David Triggs on July 27 at the same address.

Clegg, who was wearing a striped hoodie and grey trousers, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court where prosecutor Justin Espie outlined that a further charge might be lodged.
Magistrates adjourned the case until October 4 at Flintshire Magistrates Court sitting at Mold.
Clegg was granted conditional bail.
