A serious injury to a rugby player forced a game in Bethesda to be abandoned.
Pwllheli player Mathew Parry suffered significant spinal damage that needed lengthy treatment during the match, which resulted in him being transferred to Stoke Hospital to receive further treatment.
He was assessed at Ysbyty Gwynedd prior to being transferred.

A statement on Pwllheli’s Twitter site, said: “Mathew Parry is being transferred to hospital in Stoke tonight following a spinal injury received in this afternoon's (Saturday) match at Bethesda.
”Our best wishes to Mathew and his family.”
The player has received an outpouring of support from leading figures within the game and a large number of clubs from across the region, including former Welsh international Rupert Moon, Namibian star Jacques Burger and former RGC head coach Phil Davies.

The club are expected to release a further update on Parry’s information in due course.
