TRAINS have been delayed and disrupted after a vehicle collided with a bridge.
Arriva Trains Wales has announced disruption on the Wrexham to Bidston line this evening, which will affect three services.
National Rail has stated the changes have come about after a road vehicle collided with a bridge between Buckley and Penyffordd.
The 6.46pm Bidston to Wrexham Central service is being delayed at Bidston and is now expected to be 40 minutes late - with road replacement vehicles being sourced.
The company has also said that the 7.44pm Wrexham Central to Bidston train will be terminated at Shotton High Level and will no longer call at Neston, Heswall, Upton and Bidston.
It will be starting late from Wrexham Central, is expected to be 42 minutes late and will include road replacement with Pat's Coaches.
Finally the 8.56pm Bidston to Wrexham Central service will be started from Shotton High Level and will no longer call at Bidston, Upton, Heswall and Neston.
This service will also include road replacement with Pat's Coaches.
