Members of the public have vandalised flower beds at a Llandudno-based charity.

Ty Hupus Community Resource Centre - which is located behind ASDA in Llandudno - took to Facebook yesterday saying vandals had wrecked flower beds and planters, created and maintained by Veterans Hub Conwy CVSC , and left food scattered on the site.

The Facebook post said: "Thank you to the mindless individuals who over the weekend have vandalised the raised bed's and left the remnants of their Chinese take away all over the place, if you didn't want it there is a huge orange bin next to where you left it.

"The Veterans Hub Conwy CVSC guys spend a day every week here maintaining the flower beds, planters and litter picking as they want to give something back to the Community, not that they need to.

"So that's a really nice way of thanking them. We will be looking through the CCTV and we will find out who you are."

The Pioneer contacted Ty Hapus for a comment but were unable to get a statement until the committee had discussed the issue.

The group are now appealing for anybody willing to donate a railway sleeper so that the Veterans Hub Conwy CVSC group can rebuild the raised bed that has been vandalised.
