More than 350 runners saturated Llandudno's West Shore with colour on Sunday, all in the name of charity.

The fourth annual St David's Hospice Colour Run was held on Sunday with a large crowd braving the wet conditions to help raise money for the Llandudno-based charity.

The more than 350 participants took part in the 5km run while hospice volunteers covered them in multiple colours of paint as they ran along the route.

Runners took off from the West Shore beach and ran along the beach front to the Deganwy prom before coming back on themselves to finish.

Community and Events Fundraising Manager Andrew Everley said: “Once again, the Colour Run has proved to be a firm favourite amongst our supporters.

"It was a great success with people of all ages taking part and some fantastic fancy dress.

"Thank you to everyone who took part, the volunteers who helped out on the day and to Bespoke Fitness and Events for marshalling the route."

The money raised from the event will go towards the £3 million a year it costs to fund St David’s Hospice.

If you enjoyed the Colour Run, St David's Hospice has another fun run planned for later in the year.

The Santa Dash will take place on Saturday, December 8, with participants running or walking 5km on the Llandudno North Shore dressed, in Santa costumes.
