Two stray dogs were found running loose on a busy main road during the Monday morning rush hour.
The springer spaniel and St Bernard dogs were found on the A470 between Llyswen and Llansteffan.
Dyfed-Powys Police were contacted by concerned motorists shortly before 8am about the canine duo running on the road.

Powys County Council, which is responsible for collecting stray dogs and keeping them until they're claimed by their owners, have been contacted.
If the dogs aren't claimed after seven days, the council will re-home them.
A police spokesperson said the owner of the dogs has been contacted.
