A BLISTERING evening of finely crafted pop punk awaits Green Day fans in Prestatyn this month.

Super fans of the San Francisco pioneers, Wrexham' trio Green Night will bring the whole journey from obscurity to super stardom for the So-Cal punk behemoths to the Archies stage.

From 1991s Kerplunk, through the initial success of 1994s Dookie, the critical acclaim of 1997s Nimrod and to the bands launch into the stratosphere with American Idiot in the noughties and beyond, the Wrexham three piece will remind fans of why Green Day are one of the biggest punk pop band of all time.

Relieve the sardonic wit of nineties classics Longview and Basket Case, the always evocative Good Riddance (Time of your Life) to the soaring noughties anthems of Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Jesus of Suburbia.

As if that wasn't enough, Green Night will be followed by a full pop-punk DJ set giving fellow So-Cal legends The Offspring, Sublime and Blink 182 their due, as well the likes of Alkaline Trio and more.

So grab your skinny red tie and head to Archies on Wednesday, September 19 at 9pm., admission is £3.
