THIS August bank holiday, Dale is the place to be as a family-friendly fundraising fete takes place, in aid of the RNLI.
Enjoy fun, games, live music, crafts, cakes, stalls, food and a raffle from 1pm until 11pm on Saturday, August 25.
Enjoy performances from Seren Jade, Chelsea Manning, Garry Wale, Josh Beddis and Egg n Beanz, plus a special slot from 10-piece brass band BTM That’s Brass.
BTM That’s Brass is a modern ensemble, which has appeared several times on radio and television.
The group has also won various national competitions, including the National Eisteddfod of Wales Chamber Ensemble twice.
Headlining at 9.30pm will be rockabilly outfit The Curveballs, bringing the sounds of the 50s.
This annual event aims to educate visitors about the important work of the RNLI, and raise extra funds.
It is hosted by the Griffin Inn, who are also running their third annual beer and cider festival over the weekend.
