Police are trying to trace a lorry driver following a fatal road collision near Machynlleth.
A woman died following the three-vehicle collision on the B4405 at Tal y Llyn on Monday, August 20.
The incident happened at 11.01am and involved a Land Rover Defender and trailer, a silver Vauxhall Corsa and black Ford Focus.
Sergeant Trystan Bevan of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a lorry (HGV) possibly blue in colour that was carrying sawn timber.
"This vehicle was seen travelling in front of the above vehicles shortly before the collision and was heading towards the Tywyn direction. ”
“Any witnesses who may have seen the collision, and who are yet to come forward are asked to get in touch with us as soon as possible in order to assist us with the investigation.”
