Bettws Lifehouse is celebrating amazing results in its GCSE and other qualification results this summer.

The Independent Special School in Bettws Cedewain has improved yet again on their examination and qualification success.

This year there is a 100 per cent GCSE pass rate, 88.5 per cent GCSE pass rate at grades A* - C and overall a qualification pass rate of 98.3 per cent.

A statement from the school said: "The pupils of the school have continued to show how, with the right environment, every child can thrive."

Mrs Kay Jones, Managing Chief Executive, said: "I am so proud of our pupils and our flexible professional staff team. This is a reinforcement of the exceptional ESTYN report we received earlier this summer'.

Mrs Nici Jones, Assistant Head Teacher, said: "This year we have continued to extend the breadth of our standard and vocational qualifications, which now includes over 17 different subjects and over 60 entries. The pupils should be very proud of all their individual achievements'.

Particular highlights include Ondine Rousell whose GCSE results include 4 A*'s and Marley Mantle who achieved 2 BTEC vocational qualifications, a number of L1 BTEC Awards and GCSE in classical civilisations.
