With the announcement of GCSE results on Thursday, August 23, there was cause for celebration at Caereinion High School.

Standards were maintained in many areas, with 100% of pupils gaining GCSE qualifications.

There were smiles all round for several students who succeeded in achieving an impressive combination of A*, A and B grades.

Headteacher, Iona Davies said: "The results are testimony to the importance of hard work and dedication throughout the academic year. Pupils have been awarded for their dedication and commitment to work.

"Staff, governors and parents also merit recognition for supporting our talented and deserving young people."
