YSGOL GLAN Clwyd pupils were praised for their hard work and drive after results showed improvement.
A "magnificent" 100 per cent of the St Asaph based school's students attained the Level 3 threshold performance measure of two A levels at A*-E grades. A fifth of all grades achieved were A* or A and 72 per cent were A*–C grades.
On top of this, 97 per cent of students achieved the advanced Welsh Baccalaureate.
Bethan Cartwright, headteacher, said: "Students and staff deserve praise for their hard work and dedication over the last two years.
"The students should also be commended for their valuable contribution to extra-curricular activities and services to the community.
"Almost all students have obtained the grades or points score required for them to enter the university of their choice - attaining or getting higher than their personal, and often challenging, targets.
"It is also interesting to note that a far greater number of pupils were given unconditional offers for a place in university or college this year.
"We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our students the very best as they take the next step in their careers."
