The Denbigh and Flint Show proved a huge success as thousands flocked from Flintshire, Denbighshire and beyond to see the best of agriculture the region has to offer.
The major one-day agricultural show is attended by tens of thousands every year and this summer was no different, showing that while farming in the region has faced a difficult period of late there remains plenty to be optimistic about.
The official show opening was carried out by President Lieutenant Colonel Jane Eyton-Jones.
The show had so much to offer, from the hotly-contested series of exhibition competitions with light horse classes in Mountain and Moorland Ridden, Ex-Racehorses and Cleveland Bays, as well as cattle judging, which included an award from the FUW for Best Beef Animal andfrom Denbigh Town Council for Best Dairy Animal.
