Denbigh Floral Art Club
AT the July meeting of Denbigh Floral Art Club, Ruth Rees, from Chirk, gave an amusing demonstration entitled “Striking a Balance”.
There were many contrasting interpretations of the title and that gave those present an assortment of arrangements for the raffle.
The flowers and foliage were beautiful and very different.
The vote of thanks was given by Gwyneth Parry and an enjoyable evening was had by all.
The next meeting will be at Capel Mawr on September 4, starting at 7.30pm.
The demonstration will be by Tina Pound, from Wellington, and it will be entitled “Love Letters from Elvis”.
Denbigh Floral Art Club is holding a workshop in October and anyone interested should get in touch with Felicity on 01678 520963.
This is open to non-members as well as members.
