FABULOUS faeries will be on the agenda in the Dee Valley later this month.

The Legendary Llangollen Faery Festival will be returning for its 2018 offering on Saturday and Sunday, August 11 and 12.

Once more, the event will be stage at the Royal International Pavilion, in Llangollen.

This is now the largest faery event in the UK calendar and there promises to be lots to see and do over the course of the two days.

Among the various activities will be wand and wing making, circus skills workshops, storytelling and live music.

Visitors will have the chance to ride on the land train, visit the vintage funfair or make music from everyday items.

In addition, hundreds of traders from far and wide to take part in the massive fairy market, which will be selling jewellery, fey clothes, faery houses, faery dolls and figurines, candles, steampunk curios, carved wood furniture, faery doors, crystals and much more.

Also in attendance will be fairy photographers and there will also be a food court.

From 7pm on the Saturday evening, there's a Grand Faery Ball where anyone over 16 can put on their fairy finery and dance the night away to live music from

The Hedgegods, Captain of the Lost Waves and Driven Serious.
