POLICE have launched an investigation after the body of a 26-year-old man was discovered in Wrexham.
Officers with North Wales Police are currently treating the death as ‘unexplained’.
A spokesman confirmed that shortly after 7am on Sunday police were alerted to the death of a 26-year-old man, who had been found in the area of Anthony Eden Drive in Caia Park.
The force confirmed the man is from the local area and his family have been informed.
Detective Chief Inspector Dan Tipton said: “Our thoughts are with the family of this young man.
“The circumstances of this incident are being investigated with the support of local officers and staff.
“There are a number of lines of enquiry being pursued.”
The man has not been named by police.
