A college learning support assistant was struck off for five years for on-line images described as "highly inappropriate and morally unsound."

Dr Robyn Williams, 60, had posed for a top shelf magazine and one video showed her lying on a bed "getting ready for sex," it was claimed.

Dr Williams, who worked at Llandrillo College at Rhos-on-Sea in North Wales was found to have to have breached professional standards.

A two-day hearing of the fitness to practise panel of the Education Workforce Council, at Ewloe in Flintshire, found most cases proved and that she had posed for indecent or pornographic images.

She did not attend the hearing and chairman Steve Powell said there had been no regret or remorse. She had no interest in returning to teaching.

In a letter Dr Williams had stated the magazine poses had been as part of her work as a photographic model. She maintained images were "erotic but not explicit pornographic images".

However, Mr Powell said the panel disagreed. Twitter pictures and a link to a video were "pornographic and indecent," said the chairman.

"Her conduct came to the attention of colleagues and her Twitter feed could have become known to learners. The committee could not be confident there was no risk of repetition."
