A BLAZE involving the back of a caravan was accidental, fire chiefs have said.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly after midnight last night reporting a blaze in Cornist Road, Flint.

One crew from Flint was sent to the scene and used a hose reel jet as well as two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze - which involved two square metres of the back of a caravan and some fence panels.

A spokesman for the fire and rescue service said there was no indication the fire had been started deliberately, leading fire chiefs to conclude it was accidental.

Nobody was injured, the spokesman added.
